That's a blast from the past. Ravenloft, too. That midi music.

It just so happens we'd be willing to trade you Aaron Rodgers for all of your draft picks!
He's on a team, and he plays. So he's a team player, right?

Harry Connick Jr. has an instrumental album that's just easy listening piano jazz. I find it really relaxing.

Kind of refreshing, actually. I'd expect something silly like, "Yousee'um Museum."

Oh yeah, I saw that. It was pretty epic. Kind of a movie theater experience with loud music preparing you for the big reveal.

When I was there it was suspended with the doors open. Do they close them for some reason? It's kind of a display, I figured they're just always open.

Hey, we've got people buzzing about cold fusion again. They've been talking about that since I was a kid in the 80's.

I'm sure someone complained about the viability of lithium batteries, too. It's the nature of invention, right? Lots of trial and error. Eventually you get a decent process and product. And then it gets replaced.
It would be nice to see some technology that utilizes a metal that's more abundant and cheaper than lithium. So I guess they keep experimenting.

I mean, it might not be your cup of tea, but Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not because they sold a bazillion albums but because they trailblazed and inspired a legion of fellow musicians. He didn't always write the music the public wanted to hear, but he wrote the music that he wanted to hear and sometimes we liked it.

I understand the sentiment, but your name indicates some admiration for Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, so isn't there some strange irony there?

It doesn't stay dark for 6 months, though.
I was actually in Fairbanks in June and it's pretty weird. I figured it would get kind of dark but the sun wouldn't completely go down but I woke up at 3 am in my hotel room, looked out the window and it seemed like noon.

That's probably why she didn't accidentally go over the edge. I've never seen a Buick going faster than 5 mph.
