Experts actually say there are four different tornado alleys. Dixie alley is the one in the south and The most deadly by strength of storm due to nighttime tornados being much more common.
Two different ones in the great plains That make up the traditional tornado alley and then a 4th one across the rust belt south of the great lakes to the appalachians.

The techniques used to hunt a lot of birds makes friendly fire incidents more likely.
I am curious who was really at fault.
A light peppering from a distance of bird shot falling on you is the usual incident. Shot to the face, much more unlikely.
Someone out of position can easily get shot if people fire at motion....or accidentally shoot someone else.

It also takes time to sync each additional generator with the previous ones on the grid. There is a very fine window on the frequency. Just a tiny dip and everything goes down. Or explodes and catches fire.

Probably rural disconnected areas. Political elite and rich are in that 95%. They also know the grid is shit and are used to local outages so they have diesel backups.

India is the only logical partner for part of this.
Global shipping has a lot of traffic through the Indian ocean, and no one else is going to be able to assist the US on the scale India can.

Brave of you to try and get the new US designs working at-cost.
Granted, France isnt doing any better. Not sure on Japan or Germany. Russia is obviously a no-go.
Nuclear is the right thing to do, but it will take an unknown time before these new generation ones start getting built at the expected price.
Regardless of whom you get it from, glad to see Poland reducing its future need to import natural gas or burn coal.
