That’s the one! It got a little dry at points for me during Napoleon’s early life but on the whole it’s fantastic imo

How was the book on Orellana? I’m interested in learning about his expedition

‘The Secret History of the Mongol Queens’ by Jack Weatherford. Those Mongol women were badass

I recommend ‘A Land So Strange’ by Andres Resendez. I flew through that book.

Wow I was about comment the same. Nearing the end now and I loved it! Mongol history is endlessly interesting to me. Weatherford doesn’t really talk about the scale of the destruction during the Mongol conquests though.
