Reply to [WP] You are a young girl with long, black hair, and your magic talent is being able to travel through the television of the nearest person in need of a friend. But no matter how friendly you feel, they all start running when you climb out of their TV. by loopymon
Frown sewn to her face. Hair down to her waist. Eyes blank.
Song, by all accounts, looked the part of a wandering spirit.
She was not. She was very much alive and not well, how little it seemed to matter.
To the many people who laid eyes on her, she was a wandering spirit and she posed a threat to them, at that very moment.
And so.
And so, the screams, the fists, and the disquiet came barreling at her.
The disquiet never relented. It hung over her, even after she’d long left their homes. It followed her at every turn.
The day started no different from the others. Song walked alone, to and from school, and, all the while, waiting to be taken to someone’s living room from that movie she’d always wanted to see.
And then, a step from her house, she was taken.
By now, she’d got used to the feeling of static running through her body, so, getting loose, she braced for the pain.
The room of a little girl, this time. Get ready. You’ve already seen the worst of it.
But, without a hint of fear, the girl gave her a shy smile and handed her a teacup. “Want to play with me?”
Song, relieved beyond words, said, “Sure.”

Reply to [WP] How DARE you kiss me?! Do it again... please. by 66th_Legate
A small crowd circles around us.
“How dare you put your lips on me?!”
Maya closes the distance between us and whispers in my ear.
“Can you… do it again?”
“Why?“
“Just… do it, please.”
She gives me the biggest puppy eyes ever seen, and it melts away any resistance I have to her request.
“Fine.”
I reach in to kiss her. Once again, she punches me. This time, it sends me to the ground.
“Ack! What the hell?!”
The crowd cheers, taunting me relentlessly. Apparently, I’m not in Maya’s “league”.
She grabs me by the shirt in exaggerated fashion.
“Moron! You think you’re in my league?! Don’t make me laugh!”
Maya looks around, like she’s waiting for them to be distracted. Then she whispers in my ear again.
“Sorry about that.”
“Whaddya mean-“
She covers my mouth.
“Lower your voice. They’ll hear us.”
“Just why did you do that?”
“Look, my friends saw you talking to me. And… I need to prove that I’m not dating you.”
“Why not just tell me to brush you off? Why make me look like some stupid pervert?”
“I… didn’t think it through.”
“Clearly.”
She frowns.
“Whatever. You just, uh, fall back down and scurry off. I’ll make it up you later.”
“You better!”
I pretend to stumble, before falling to the ground again.
“Ah… ah…. AHHHHHHH! Umf!”
The crowd loses it.
I pick myself up. She has to pay me back for this.
