NYC has higher rents. And taller buildings.

It is starting at the intersection of Minnesota & Good Hope. Then walking down to MLK and up into Congress Heights. Bring your white friends.

I love the low building heights. You can see the sky while still having walkable neighborhoods. Lower density creates nice neighborly feeling where you know everyone on your block. Comparatively to other cities, lots of trees and greenery too.

Madam/Sir...I don't know you but I feel the need to intervene here. You are obviously making questionable decisions with your life. I think some self reflection is required. The world is your oyster.

Because the laws in DC are not enforced and are concurrently being diluted by city council. Surprised you are just noticing.

"I do think it’s neat that city still has a smaller community feel while having everything you could ever want in our own backyard."......And a NIMBY is born.
For the record...this is not me shitting on you. I am in full agreement. I think we should preserve the small community feel that makes DC so desirable and amazing to live in. I love it.

The rapping kid changes. What doesn't change is the adult "pimp". J-Money is the adult's "name". That is what he goes by. He trots out a rotating cast of neighborhood children. It is actually sad but tourists make it lucrative so he does it.

The joke is that Snyder is accused of keeping two sets of books. The NFL is a profit sharing operation with certain carve outs (mainly box suites. hence why new stadiums in major markets prioritize those in new construction. But I digress.) Supposedly Danny boy has been cooking the books so he doesn't need to share his obligatory portion with the other owners.

Was at the police department registering a handgun last week and it was PACKED! So many first time registrations they were two hours behind and that is with appointments required for specific times.
This is what happens when you have crime increasing and enforcement decreasing.
The police aren't going to protect you. You need to take responsibility for your own safety.
