Yea, kinda goes with the concept of futurology unfortunately. We're always chasing the next paradigm around here, so when there's solid data it becomes less futurology.

My younger brother had Cystic Fibrosis, so I've been following genetic engineering since we (the US) started talking about publicly funding it. I'm so stoked to see mRNA therapies for most CF patients, but really--there's so many families out there like mine who desperately need to see this come to fruition. I don't know what percentage of our public funding and subsidies go into research in this sector, but I feel like it's probably not enough.
