No it’s not reasonable at all to charge fees that high and I’m not sure why people are being rude to you. You asked a question you didn’t ask them for a lecture on responsibility. Some people are just so perfect apparently they can’t help but find people on Reddit that might be having a struggle for a moment just so they can point out their perfectness by being rude and condescending to others. Everybody makes mistakes and it’s probably a computer system auto generating the bills and if you call them Monday and tell them you want to pay the toll costs and that your address mix up took place, I am sure they will wave those crazy fees. I have these same struggles often and it’s not bc of lack of maturity or responsibility, it’s because I have major ADHD and unfortunately missing deadlines or forgetting to update things , being late, etc are all kinda side effects :)

SMH… and it also says that the decreases were only bc the state law that required those companies to reduce their rates. Most companies got the tax break and profited for themselves and nobody saw the benefits of them.

Every Republican is good at pointing out the Current struggles and problems however not one of them has ever and I mean EVER laid out a solid plan or even had a slightest idea of what they will do differently to make these problems go away. As a matter of fact when ideas have been floated in congress of Things that we could do to alleviate some of the pricing stresses we are facing in several different aspects of our economy ( energy, grocery, prescriptions, etc.) the policies/ideas are blocked every single time by republicans voting against them. So they simply like to talk about the e problems that we face and that cause us struggle but they certainly have no clue how to fix them nor do they care too. It is illegal to get anything more then first months rent and security deposit from a tenant in rhode island and I would be it’s illegal for her to keep that money regardless of that contract bc I think it was illegal for her to take it before you accepted the lease anyways
