Ah. I don't know any local groups for those. Hopefully someone can chime in here. I really only know nerd stuff.

What kinds of stuff are you into? If we know some of your hobbies, we can direct you to local groups for them.
From your post history, I think we would get along well. But someone's online presence can often be very different from reality.

WalMart def gives them away. You might run into a different policy store-to-store, but it's a lot about timing. I know when I was a supervisor there, I was giving customers tips on which boxes were strong or weak or could stack safely.
By the way, it's the boxes that laundry detergent come in. Those can be packed with the heaviest stuff and still stack a mile high. Perfect for dishes or glassware.

How am I only just now finding out about this? I recognize half the vendors on the map from Visioncon and G.A.M.E.

Reply to Local parks and buildings that are useless? by MorphinDorphin
Take a cross-town trip on Kearney. I count over a dozen seemingly abandoned buildings.
Then there's the silos on Commercial and whatever that building with the mural near Chestnut and National, but people have already made plenty of stuff about them.
