New contracts aren’t kw=kw like they were last year. You sell your monthly excess kw at the billing rate and bank that monetary credit.
Similar, but notably different, since in winter when you are using more than you generate, you are buying electricity at a higher rate than you sold your excess for in the summer. Bastards.

Right, I think there is no point. An outcome is what it is. A virtually tied election isn’t statistically less likely (or statistically weirder) than any other exact arbitrary outcome.
I (mis)interpreted your original comment as a suggestion of potential election fuckery. Apologies if that’s not what you were getting at.

This link doesn’t show any math at all.
In a random election, a dead heat is statistically the most probably outcome. Yes it’s highly unlikely with a large number of voters, but not more so than any other exact outcome.
It’s just coin flip probability. Here is the math.

It really isn’t at all.
Winning by exactly one vote isn’t any less likely than winning by exactly 158 votes. But no one bats an eye at that just because it’s less close, despite it having the same statistical likelihood.
There are republicans that won by tight margins too. Not everything is a conspiracy you weirdo.

When I lived in Queens I saw a flock of these guys fly by my 4th story window and couldn’t believe it. Looked it up and read this same story. There is a gorgeous and enormous nest on the Greenwood Cemetery entrance gates in Brooklyn.

I lived in NYC (with a car unfortunately) for 3 years and I was relieved that CT drivers do this speed up thing wayyy less frequently from what I became used to.
A lot of people don’t even use blinkers in NYC because there is a mentality of “oh no, you’re not getting in front of me” so you gotta just make the lane change without warning. People are terrible.
I agree though that it happens everywhere and it often isn’t malicious. But sometimes it is depending where you are.

Thank you! Reaching out to them immediately. Do you know what panels and inverters they use? Feel free to PM please if you don’t want to share publicly

I had a Trinity guy come to my house for a quote, he didn’t know what he was talking about, and he never followed up with the proposal. Also I’m looking buy with cash, not use a solar loan with baked in fees but Solar loan are a great option for a lot of people too.
I’m partial to local installers for more reliable customer service.

I’m talking system DC wattage which is independent of sun exposure. It’s the only way to compare apples to apples (but of course panel and inverter efficiencies and warranties will vary).

Pre tax credit. I keep seeing that national average is allegedly $3/W retail (pre tax credit).

Reply to Vernon rails to trails dogs by theplayerofxx
I’m a dog loving trail runner, but I feel very unsafe when I’m running in the woods alone and a giant dog starts chasing me. The owner is usually so blasé about it too. I ask “should I stop running so you can grab him” and they’ll often be like “no you’re fine”. But when I run he chases me. How will this end unless you do something?
As a dog owner I’m even more bothered by how little people worry about bears while in the woods with their dog. Yeah they leave you alone if you leave them alone. But if a curious dog runs at them they can and do bite in defense.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. There was a mountain of proven Russian meddling in the 2020 election. It just didn’t affect the final result of the presidential election.

People are just naturally more cautious around an animal that is capable of overpowering them, and rightfully so. I don’t know your dog, and it costs me nothing to just avoid any potentially negative interaction, even if the risk is low.
If a troubled chihuahua with a shit owner attacks me, no big deal, I’ll live. If a troubled pit attacks me I can kiss my ass goodbye. I don’t think anyone is personally judging you or your dog when they cross the street, some people just figure why chance it?

I’m going to ask my installer about this tomorrow. I’d be very surprised if you had to keep Eversource as your supplier with solar. You bank excess generation at the wholesale rate anyways, not at the supplier rate.
