Going to restaurants off season can be a great experience. They are glad to see you and everything is prepared with a little more care because they have the time. Also very relaxing.

In Maine over 237,000 out of 847,000 homes lost power. https://poweroutage.us/area/state/maine Some heavily populated areas lost 100 percent. At least they are not getting the brunt of the polar blast, but people with electric heat will be cold.
