You mean after they absorbed McDonnell Douglas? Honestly not surprised, MD was still struggling after the A-12 failure.

We could opt to put the families of the Boeing staff members that were responsible onto one of their faulty 737's and do some test crashes. They should be completely okay with this, it means their families won't suffer.
