You can get a free Starbucks drink if you sign up for rewards. Sephora offers a bday gift. The only restaurant I’ve been to that gives you free stuff is Royal Taj in Columbia. They gave me cheesecake and champagne.
And I’m dating myself here, but does anyone remember how the Steak & Ale would give you a whole small chocolate cake on your bday?! It was so good!

My home is around the same size. Generally BGE is around $90-$150/mo. My past bill was $215 when we had the cold snap. Yours seems very high.

I live near Penn Station. I wouldn’t send my kid to public schools for K-5 but if your child is 3 they can do preK anywhere. It will cost money, of course.

I’m a 4’8” woman and I’ve lived in BH for close to 20 years. Never had an issue. Just be aware of your surroundings and definitely never walk around with earbuds.

I would suggest joining neighborhood pages on FB and sometimes there are parenting groups for respective neighborhoods. I’ve met a lot of good friends through those. Creative alliance has some Kerplunk programs for adults and kids. AVAM has fun ones throughout the year that are usually free. The library is great for activities if the child isn’t in daycare/school. Nature centers have good events too.

It’s called mobtown moms the exchange II on fb. You have to be invited to join by a member. But it’s easy to get someone to request your invite.

Not a nightmare but I was moving out in early November, I paid them for November, and I told them I’d be using my kitchen for thanksgiving as an extra oven. Right before thanksgiving they came in and tore the whole kitchen out for renovation. I was pissed.
