Why are we paying this guy to come out and run the generator for an hour every month? It’s always worked fine. There’s never been an issue with the generator that he’s found right? It’s always worked so it’ll always work.
Fire him.

These were the ones across from the cemetery. The maps show an active vent further East. Does it depend on weather at all? After a rain?

We were in Centralia Saturday and the steam/smoke vents are no longer venting. It was sad to see the highway all covered up with tailings too…

There’s an old CCC camp turned POW camp turned sky daddy camp up the road from the Pine Grove Furnace. Not a lot to see but cool spot to explore nonetheless

It’s interesting to see all the incorrect comments that this is a mistake. Sheetz has been playing games with fuel prices all year, this is not unusual nor novel. They’ve been running clearance prices on E85 and E15(88) all year and recently lowered the cost of premium fuels at all their stations here in PA. Just in time for us to get slapped in the face with an increase in gas taxes Sunday.

Exactly and this is how it’s going to be for our foreseeable future. Push the responsibility onto individual citizens while giving corporations a free pass. I’m sure all the abandon malls and mega warehouses shut their lights off this weekend….

This was called the “you plus two” law back in my college town in Colorado. The law originally came about to keep the Mexican immigrant field workers down and was easily extended to students and other working class poor.
Shit law from shit people.

Ah ha! So the big one I have is not marked. Second is 00173, gonna say 1994 for the one with the handle and the last one is actually 00171
So we have unknown, 1973, 1994 and 1971. Way closer than I was!

I’ve got a few of these I grew up with and I’ve never been able to sort their age from the codes on the bottom. They just don’t line up or I’m missing something
Huge one - N945 12-(B)
Smaller Aladdin - NO. A-1357 Quart Wide Mouth
Aladdin with handle - NO. A-944DH Quart (94)
Lastly a NO. A-943B Pint which is stamped 0117
