He obviously knows they’re very different characters. It sounds like he chose not to go ahead with it for that specific reason

Banksy’s artwork is so unremarkable to me. It holds absolutely zero artistic value, nearly anyone could make his pieces.

His artwork’s technical value is quite unremarkable. People only like it because of current social context. That content won’t hold over centuries and it’ll likely fade to the footnotes of art history
