Reply to LPT: Out at the bars/party and don't want to get hassled for not drinking? Drink N/A beer from bottles and cover or remove the labels, or order a juice drink which will look like a mixed drink. by tn_notahick
Just keep in mind that those people complaining of you not drinking alcohol are insecure sissies who think they can only be the man/gal/whatever when drinking alcohol, and those remarks become only more silly. They do not realize that they only make an ass of themselves with those remarks.

Worse, all the hot beverages from economy class will spill onto the business class passengers in front of the plane. Can't do that for those big-paying frequent flyers.
Time for a petition to have the planes descend/fall tail-first in emergency settings to avoid this scenario.

My 2010 Prius has a foot pedal for parking brake. Completely to the left, hard to confuse with a (non-existing) clutch.

Reply to LPT: When trimming your facial hair with an electric razor, line your sink with a paper towel. by Hello_IM_FBI
Use a shaving apron that you fix with suction cups to the mirror when you are trimming your beard. Saves you a lot of paper towels. Such a shaving apron is really not expensive.

I totally agree. Depending on the country, you can also make your living will at a notary to make it official. it avoids a lot of problems: in many countries you else have to go to court to decide important things for your family who are not able to express their will anymore.

Reply to LPT: If you have items that are precious, tell your adult children the story of those things far before death. Better yet, write it down and include it with the item. by AcroAmo
Good tip. My parent and I had discussions about the origins of some items which came from the grandparents of my parents (or that adventurous brother of my grand-grandparents), and I feel that I tend to forget some of those stories. My mother agreed that it should be written down somewhere.
Maybe we can make this an activity for the Christmas holidays. It is a nice way to spend time together.

Reply to LPT: To know if an avocado is ready to eat, peel back the little round stem at the top of it. If it comes away easily and what’s underneath is green - it’s ripe. by Sensitive_Apple_7901
And do not do this in the supermarket when buying avocado's. Those are not your avocado's to damage for other customers.
