For all the same reasons you want to leave Florida, I am urging my kids to leave NH. MA is much more civilized with rational Healthcare and much better education. Avoid NH. Regarding taxes, property taxes in NH more than make up for absence of income tax. Live free or die my ass.

These decisions, even if made by parents on behalf of the minor, are not snap decisions. There is a process, including therapy and potentially ssri meds, that generally lasts a year or more, before any endocrinologist intervention, and longer before any surgical intervention. No one decides this overnight. I've been involved with this community, and I've never met a parent who actively encouraged transition. Including myself.

I have to admit, i was against trans healthcare for minors, until I had to rush my own kid to er and found out how they felt about their body and sex at birth. That was 9 years ago. My kid is alive, has transitioned, and is now happy at age 25. I have totally changed my views. No one whose kid is not trans can truly understand how vital affirming Healthcare really is. Please, all of you, stay in your lane.

Possible reason: The "independent thinkers " now get to wail about how unsafe the schools are, and that the best way to "keep the children safe" is to homeschool, and the State should approve those Freedom Fund vouchers immediately.

Every self proclaimed Libertarian I've met ( all the in-laws, most neighbors) is actually just a Republican, and the neighbors are all just Maga, but they don't want to admit it. I view them much the same as I view Marjorie Taylor Greene.

And 45s $2T tax cut that was supposed to trickle down but was all funneled into stock buybacks and pretend inflated 401k increases without any underlying change in fundamentals had absolutely nothing to do with undermining the perceived value of that reserve currency. Yeah, ok.
