Yeah, I know. It's just that every time I see one on here there seems to be more cheese/bread and less soup.

Looks good. Although I can't help noticing that French Onion soup these days seems to just refer to a bowl of melted cheese.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Why is it turned into some drama requiring mystical woo that the guy who found him 'trusted his gut' as if there's some kind of divine inspiration, rather than just he got lucky and found him?

Well, I can see the overall depth of the bowl from its perspective on the plate, and I can see where the cheese starts below the rim, so...
