??? Which is not what the shower thought is about . I suppose the sentence can be a little ambiguous.

It is impossible to have more descendents than your ancestors (have).

Rephrased, your ancestors always have more descendents than you do.

It's not "it is impossible to have more descendents than you (have) ancestors"

It may not have volume, but it can certainly vary in INTENSITY ^(a bit).

especially in a world that has psychic powers, it maybe a latent power even in non telepaths to forcibly and intentionally broadcast to receptive type telepaths.

You can also annoy them with the content of a message. Even if I cant crank up the volume, playing earworms on loop is real irritating.

You can also string together phrases and images interspersed with the impression of static to make them think their power is on the fritz

The existence of Full dive implies not only the ability to "send" sensations, but also to "read" signals, for stuff like motion intention. From there its a "small" step to reading sensations off sensory nerves, of someone eating an actual thing during the dev process. That's a pretty big data packet though, so you certainly don't want individual samples for every possible thing. You could probably use it as training data though, for an algorithm to take some simpler features from game data in, and spit out an appropriate sensory gestalt procedurally to the interface.

how closely that model reflects reality, who knows.

You could also just wear a go-pro everywhere, and all people will do is give you some funny looks. seeding dreams is its own kettle of fish, but there is very little difference save unobtrusiveness for a camera vs a camera in your eye for recording your entire life.

A quibit is (essentially) a probability of being a zero or a one. Or at least sort of. quantum mechanics has this thing called probability amplitudes which are complex numbers, not a regular percentage, but when you square those you get normal probability

so because these are weird, you don't just have one degree of freedom that you could just represent with normal numbers probability. Each Qubit can be represented by a position on a "bloch sphere".

So you can think about each gate doing some math between two those qubits.

At the end of the whole thing though, you end up with a series of classical bits

I figure it will be something like racing cars. There will be a certain limits on a bodies spec in a given division, but other than that the engineering is part of the sport.

This is just the actual engineering part of it, I'm equally clueless on the long term socio-economic implications.
