If it costs money to do the right thing, companies will only do it if it's explicitly required to do so. Even then, they won't do it unless the penalty is severe and they are likely to get caught. Oil and gas companies don't care about us or our land. We shouldn't treat them like they're doing us any favors when we hold the resources they want.

You're correct. They'll send a sticker in the mail, but you don't need to put it on your car. At this point its only use is that people on the block know it's a neighbor's car.

I think it's been calmer the last few years because of covid. I recall them winning around 2017 or 2018 and it was about on this level.

At least they brought in street sweepers around 8PM right after they wrapped up. They had a crew out there cleaning for a few hours.

It can happen if we promote policy changes that make it harder to own a car that's rarely used.

-City wide street sweeping.

-Much higher registration fees for multiple cars owned at one property.

Edit: I'll add in adding many more short term loading zones so delivery drivers don't need to block crosswalks or double park.

Email your councilmember's office. Try to fnd out if you have a local ward committeeperson and reach out to them too. Not sure how to find out who that is unfortunately, but you could probably ask your local state rep's office to put you in touch.
