Should have clarified, I don’t have this exact item. I have a wireless switch controller made to look like a retro GC controller. The issue still stands though given that the button arrangement is the same.

Got this. It’s entirely a gimmick. The GC’s rightside button layouts are incompatible with the standard diamond shaped pattern. Many games will require you to completely rethink your button presses. I put it down after one use and it’s been in a drawer ever since.
