No, we enjoy playing games, and there are so many different games, it is like a new experience with each new game that we play. :)

We play a lot of games, and when we see something interesting or get an idea in a different way, we discuss it, whether it has sense, how much time we need to make it live, resources, etc. And a lot of testing, of course. :)

>In a world where partisan politics infects everything, Lake Mead is only 30% filled and getting lower by the day, Covid looks to be with us for the long haul, supply chains just haven't gotten any better, Moore's law looks broken, it's all just somehow a simulation, all the crab are gone, Putin desperately wants us to believe he's winning, meat is now being made from everything that isn't meat, and balloons are now to be viewed with distrust, why should we play your games?
Why did anyone play any game in the first place?
Relaxation, reducing stress, entertainment, forgetting about worries, and the list goes on. That created a community of gamers worldwide, people are connecting, coming up with new ideas, changing the world, and making it a better place to live.

The industry of gaming is wide and growing. As for the jobs like the one you mentioned, it is probably best to ask someone working in that niche. Some universal tips are: courses, practice, internships, finding a good company with a mentoring program, etc.

Our games! ;)
Besides them, we play a lot of games, and everyone in the company has their own favorite genre, so it's really difficult to say.

We love board games - that is where you start thinking - what would make this game/mechanics better? What would be better? What would people like?
Financial, depends, how much are the expenses of production, shipping, etc.
We talk with other game developers and try to find resources locally, if not - we look abroad. Many developers find manufacturers in China.

We certainly follow a lot of factors, including storytelling.
There are no rules, you have games that keep selling for years, and the new ones that get hyped, but will last short.

We think it's not just one ingredient. The game must give the player pleasure, but at the same time give him a sense of completion and success. Besides, good innovations in gameplay are always welcome. There is no universal formula (or at least, we did not find it :)).

Well, we are always following new Android and iOS updates, and maintaining our games, requires effort, but it is important for our players and us.
As for the question about board games, we are following our ideas and see where will they take us. :)
