Even the fibers themselves are different. You can tell male from female just from the composition.

A) look for the cheapest price, because higher price mean more economic activity, especially if the higher price is because the company is involved in political lobbying to make everything more expensive on behalf of the global warming agenda.
B) look for no plastic and other toxic chemicals. The global warming people want to replace everything with petrochemicals.

I just looked it up and it sounds pretty woke. Why would I want to pay for a "50 MP dual camera"? They couldn't even put it off to the side. They had to put it in the screen. No headphones jack either. Come on.

5 years? That's nothing. Is there any phone that doesn't give at least that?
I honestly believe the soy devs need to go to jail for making things artificially slow. What did they change in 5 years that makes it so that when you click an icon on the screen it's no longer instantaneous? The original Windows from 30 years ago could register a click without delay.

New York Times runs at a loss. So does Impossible Burger. When something isn't bound by the market, that's when you start getting the agenda driven stuff. Woke corporatism is what's making people unhappy. It's the lack of capitalism. You're not even legally allowed to buy a car that doesn't costs $1,000 per radar in the bumper for a fender bender.

No, he can stay right here in America where our government spends far more per capita than Cuba and North Korea combined.

Why would a phone that lasts a long time not be cheap?
Why would I need a modern radio that has been "certified"?
The OP is asking for normal things that people want, not this bizarre stuff.

Apps that Apple finds unprofitable? They banned Gab when it was the number one seller. They don't care about profits. They care about censorship. This is a socialist system, not a capitalist one, less yet a "hypercapitalist" one.
Otherwise I agree and want the same phone as you.

People wear these for one ride down a ski slope then sell them. Don't buy from some big company that hates you. A long time ago North Face at least used heavy duty nylon in their jackets. Nothing today is anything but polyester.

Patagonia wants you to eat the bugs. It shows how confused you are that you think one Chinese plastic factory is better than another just because they got a bigger contract with the US state department to promote wars and lockdowns.

They're better in a lot of ways if you could get one that would suit the purpose. I looked for a coffee grinder that would work for pepper a while back and considered taking off the handle and replacing it with some sort of hexagonal nut that would fit over where the handle goes and be large enough to grip and twist. But coffee grinders tend to have other issues for this application like not having a place to store the pepper, since with coffee you put in fresh coffee each time. Do you know of any specific ones that would be good for this?

The idea is supposed to be that you're allowed to upgrade parts, so the computer is supposed to be a big hollow shell that will allow you to fit any motherboard including itx, plus a screen with a non-proprietary connector instead of the usual lvds and edp, and also a trackpad and keyboard that are usb instead of, once again, proprietary connections. But no, all you get is tiny 12" screen to ensure you can't fit anything other than the custom adaptor modules for everything that only the company sells.
BornAgainSpecial t1_ivvca6b wrote
You need something with a big screen so you can see what you're engineering, and all the computer companies got together and made a consensus that they would no longer allow you to have that. Get a used LG Gram with a 17" screen for about $500. Rip out the camera and microphone and any other junk that's not supposed to be in there and sell it to recoup some of the cost. Maybe resell the battery too since anywhere that has a desk also has a power outlet.

This is the "buy it for life" reddit, and you're telling someone to buy an extended warranty laptop you think will die within 4 years.
BornAgainSpecial t1_ivva4il wrote
You can't even browse reddit on it. The soy devs who own reddit are in a racket with google and all the others to deliberately make everything bloated.

That makes no sense. Anyone who has ever lifted weights can tell you the gains come easily when starting out and taper off.
