Did you skip the second, third and fourth bill also? If so that may explain the downtime

Yes, really. Important to realize Reddit is also a fairly anonymous platform, people tend to be 1,000,000x worse as humans when they can hide behind a keyboard.

Reddit is toxic. Remember most of its garbage, lies, and internet trolls.

Why not just buy a certified pre owned
Also make sure you add snow tires for the winter , good tires make all the difference

For example the line of lower wind/snow that seems to stretch from Nashua through concord to Littleton right up the center of the state, why are these totals seemingly lower? Also curious

Good luck on the move! Yes, stay out of tall brush and dead leaves, you should be fine. I certainly keep eyes out for ticks after a day in the woods, but rarely find them as I mentioned.
BlueRabbitx t1_j9arpej wrote
Sounds like someone planted an irrational fear in you.
I hike and camp maybe 10x a summer, for years.
Live in rural area.
My family averages maybe 1-2 ticks a year found crawling, in past 10 years maybe 1-2 ticks embedded.
Keep the yard clean, if possible remove oak trees from property (feel like the acorns bring more mice/chipmunks/squirrels around)
We don’t spray the yard, and only spray picardin/permethrin when hiking
Edit: most of the ticks we find seem to come from a day at the park/playground/ ball field.

From the internet:
Here’s the breakdown of electricity consumption categories in the typical home:
Air conditioning and heating: 46 percent
Water heating: 14 percent
Appliances: 13 percent
Lighting: 9 percent
TV and Media Equipment: 4 percent
Do you have electric heat in this rental?

Used to go there a bunch when I lived out that way, very fond memories of it but it has been a couple years since I was there
Sad to hear it’s lost its touch

They have volunteer military, police, fire, teachers for those that can’t afford them. You get to repair your own roads and runs on the honor system of not destroying the unmaintained public lands. Of course there aren’t many public lands as the companies that have the strongest militia took them over.
It’s a great place!

Housing market has been driven up by Mass residents doing the same thing you’re looking to do, tbh please don’t. If you must please move to western NH
I can’t speak for everyone, but feeling a bit jaded /invaded.
My commute is ruined by the caravan of Mass cars up 93 every Friday, and it’s all 4 seasons. I don’t bother to try and use 93 south on Sunday anymore.
I wish you all would choose Vermont instead, and spend your recreational time in some other state (try Connecticut or Rhode Island, I hear they’re excellent!)
No offense, good luck in your quest

Depending on the time frame you are looking for, college housing sometimes opens up for summer rentals.
Also consider looking across the border in Maine
Somersworth and Rochester are kind of rat holes, but may be cheaper
