TIL about a 16 year old art student who lost most of her fingers when she plunged her hands into a bucket of plaster until it set. The heat of the chemical reaction caused terrible burns when fellow students and teachers failed to remove the plaster with a hammer. The school was fined only £20,000.

We cannot watch nature documentaries. Our dogs go nuts. One even barked at a depiction of a horse on an Etruscan vase on some historical doc.
