I like the vibe at Slainte but I don't remember it being all that cozy or having a fireplace. It's an Irish pub sort of thing, and their Irish breakfast (served all day) is lovely. And it's right in Fells Point.

Yes that's what I literally believe about the word "eccentric." It wasn't a reference to the cliche about crazy rich people being labeled as eccentric. It's my sincere belief.

I remember when I realized that my PhD program was really intended for people from wealthy families, and preferably from wealthy academic families. Very blackpill moment for me. Glad I left that world behind me.
