I'd do everything in my power to avoid living in the city, if I had concerns about crime. If you live in the city, at bare minimum you'll be stolen from or have your stuff vandalized. If you don't care about these kinds of things, have fun in the city with all the culture.

You gotta give me more time to move this light rail train out of the bike lane

I gotta go move some vehicles

My favorite poor light synchronization is Loch Raven between the city line and Woodbourne. I drive the speed limit +5 and end up hitting red at every light. Sometimes if I drive like a maniac, I can beat the cycle, but I don't like doing that, so I've just learned to avoid it or plan extra time. It's hilariously bad.

Is it okay to park a bike in the bus lane?

You know, I never actually opposed bike lanes before, but you're so insufferably sanctimonious and condescending that I will now be a single issue voter: no bike lanes. In fact, I will now call them bike "lames" because of how lame they are.

You said I was trolling, then you continued to try to argue. So I tried to be even more absurd.
I still say bike lanes are ableist. Particularly when 85% of disabled people can't use them.

It's unreal how problematic you're being. You haven't even begun to imagine the intersectional nature of your offenses. This does real harm to vulnerable folx.

Bikes are literally ableist but go off

We just need to do bike lanes and it will fix this, apparently. Personally I think we should use the bike lanes for skinny buses.

If I ran a tire shop, I'd go around throwing nails and tacks on the road everywhere. I'd also lobby aggressively to reduce funds for fixing potholes

Liberals also made isms a higher priority than things like public transit. They got you to vote for them thinking they'd do both, but they're only ever going to do the isms, because those are cheap to do and allow the HR departments to make it easier to fire you.

Liberals gleefully embraced the tool of all these isms when they needed to halt any economic leftward momentum. I guess they never thought the wreckers would wreck beyond their intended purpose.

Reply to comment by Kooky_Deal9566 in The SFE Energy Door-to-Door Scam is Back by Dr_Midnight
I reported many third party suppliers to PSC and OPC for fraudulent behavior, including impersonating BGE, switching suppliers without a signed contract, etc. The regulatory bodies are captured by the third party energy lobby. They are there so you have someone to complain to. They do not function as an actual regulatory body.
Until we get rid of third party energy suppliers in this state, they will continue with this behavior. They serve no valuable function and exist only to siphon money from the system. Most notably, they tend to prey on low income, elderly, and black people. These populations, who qualify for state energy assistance, end up using most of their energy assistance allotment paying for the marginal cost of their third party supplier. Your taxes and some of your utility bill is what pays for that energy assistance. You are literally paying for the door to door salesmen to come bother you.
And this is what Marylanders, supposedly left wing nut jobs, wanted the government to do. They wanted the government to allow "energy choice."
One bright spot is Mary Washington, a state senator, who has been tireless and brave in opposing and trying to control the third party suppliers. Mary is a rare politician who I have seen take direct material action to help the poor in this state. She might be the only democrat I vote for.
