Thankfully I never suffered from
PTSD but some weird part of me thinks this was somewhat cathartic for him. His actions meant something, directly and with violence of action that had a clear goal, stopping the madness that had ensued.
No one should be put in that position but I for one am glad he was there and his actions prevented a greater tragedy.
