Someone who moved here last week and someone who’s lived here their whole life are both completely valid in being concerned about escalating violence

I spent about $60 on supplies and tried about a dozen times before giving up. I’ve scoured the internet and there are no fat-free whipped cream recipes.

~$400/mo for one, but I'm a god damn trash panda. I very rarely eat out, and when I go out I usually eat at home first and then just get drinks. I can't justify restaurant prices anymore.
One trick - I've saved money eating out by pre-calculating prices. Like "oh, I can spare $12 for a chicken sandwich! But let's see... fries aren't included, so that an extra $5, then there's 10% tax, 20% service fee, service fees (unlike regular tips) are taxed, so $22.44... never mind"
I do have an uncompromising addiction to fat-free Reddi Whip whipped cream, which is about $50-60/mo of the grocery bill. I could get it for about $5/lb in 2021, and is now ~$11/lb.

Yes, I’m responding to the assertion that “RIC does have some seasonal international flights”, which is false.

Yes, I get that. But there is currently no international commercial service that you can book.

There are no scheduled commercial international flights out of RIC.
EDIT: Instead of downvoting me provide a link to a commercial international flight you can book.

If you're looking at the Church Hill area, make sure to visit first. I have a house a 10 - 15 minute walk from the medical center across the Leigh St. Bridge in Church Hill.
The proximity to the hospital is great, but the area abuts a huge swath of section 8 housing (Mosby Court), and many people tell me they feel unsafe around my house after dark. I hear gunshots occasionally, see porch pirates regularly, and fireworks are late into the night *every night* from ~Memorial Day to ~4th of July.
If you walk 2-3 blocks north or east it gets a even worse, and 2-3 blocks south it's very cozy and much safer, so if you're going to be east of the hospital in the city please visit and get a feel for the block and surrounding area first.

Came here looking for this comment, disappointed in how far I had to scroll. I honestly think most people have lost the rough map of the city people used to keep in their head, and just rely on the GPS

Serious answer is near the section 8 housing (the “courts”) in the East End. Some of the areas around Mosby Court are decently close to the VCU hospital and still have options <300k.
