Called aaa bc I got a flat a good hour north of NYC. They sent someone from STATEN FUCKING ISLAND. When they got there like 3 hours later and said where he drove from o was like wtffff. He said that AAA sends notices out to the shops and whoever gets it first gets it. His boss regularly sends him out to change flats and stuff really far away. The guy was like but again I was like wtfffff bro people are the worst

The problem with this area is that each bagel store has extreme bad components and if I took the good qualities of all them, I’d have a great bagel store.
One has good ‘sandwich’ bagels and tasty eggs, but the service is painfully slow and often gets our order wrong (even if they’re not busy); another the eggs are great, but the sausages are halved links (unacceptable); a different one has crappy hard NYC style bagels, but great juices, shakes, and nice people. 🤷♀️
I miss Palisades Park bagels, but it’s out of the way now. I also like Lodi and Bob’s, but haven’t been often enough to really judge.

That’s the one! Great breakfast and reasonably priced. I haven’t been to Meadlowlands, but we live closer to Candlewyck, so we’ve been there a bunch of times.

Killer breakfast!! Great pastries bc the grandma or the son who is enrolled at John & Wales makes them. It is family owned and run, which is amazing.

I hope they have a scene at the Bendix Diner!! Love when that location turns up on film. And they make amazing food.

Uggghhhh that was probably an incredible show. I’ve seen Coheed a couple times and they always bring it. Would have loved to see Circa!!

They were on a mini tour and released an EP last year. Check them and Anthony green out on Instagram, they update it most often with music and shows.

He’s been doing tons of great stuff the last few months! Even going back like 6 years ago; he is just a consistently top artist. Highly recommend checking out everything lol

He’s been putting out a ton of great music recently! I saw him performing as Sounds of Animals Fighting with Hail the Sun. Such a sick show!

Glad you checked it out! I’ve been listening to him in various projects for the last 15 years and his vocals/lyrics are always amazing. It is truly moving to finally hear him be happy/more at peace with himself.

I can’t wait to see him again! I’ve wanted to see him for the last 15 years, but always missed it. My hubby has seen him a couple of times and said he always puts on a top notch performance. We saw him perform with Hail the Sun and it was an amazing show.

One of the best albums from 2022!! It’s so good to hear him in such a good, peaceful place. Lyrics are meaningful, his vocals are still unreal, and the music is jubilant and fulfilling.
Surprised not more people are talking about it. I saw him live a few weeks ago and his performance/vocal control were truly mind blowing.

I wasn’t living there 10 years ago, so I can’t compare to that standard. They’re still white tablecloth and the food was okay, but it didn’t wow me. Ate there twice.

Bratek Deli in Garfield is my new favorite. Used to be an Adam’s devotee (and I still do love it), but Bratek has an incredible selection of kielbasa, baked goods (especially around Christmas), and cooked foods.
Piast is great too.
