Season 1 was great but they were always treading water.

I've rarely eaten pancakes since seeing that episode and I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or if I've gained Forest's phobia by osmosis.

If I have to pick one then I'm going with Tribbles, but I'd take both to my post-apocalypse desert island.

But not to start a trend, but I think 4.05-"Method Not Allowed" was better still. Season 4 of Mr Robot was episode for episode one of the most breathtaking seasons of TV I've had the pleasure of watching.

The ending was sentimental as hell with the writers losing sight of the fact the show was at its best when the characters were fighting failure.

Definitely some irony there, but perhaps they went global out of necessity when the warehouses started filling up with unused pumps.

This cold open is interesting with its time jumps and tonal jumps but what's this... the accents are a bit hard to follow. What vernacular is this? I'm going to have a hard time working out the mystery if I can't make out all the words.
