Painting an interpretation of a literary work isn't the same as copying a still from a visual medium on another visual medium.

But false equivalencies are cool, I guess.

This isn't art. Art isn't repeating someone else's intellectual property in another medium.

Whose line is it anyways isn't improv. They've got a staff of writers and script producers, and each show is heavily edited to cut out the jokes that don't land.

It's a running joke amongst comedians that Whose Line is a well written show.
