I’m sure it is. I try to use system functionality where I can to avoid more and more accounts/credentials.

The password manager actually has an Authenticator built in, it’s just so out of the way lol

Honestly there are a ton of hidden features that very few people know about. I also watch a bunch of tech vids but I don’t remember seeing that anywhere.
Another one I love is the authentication setup for saved passwords in iCloud through the settings app. I wish Apple would just make that a standalone app like google auth though.

I mean it’s not advertised, and I know only 1 other person that knows it exists. Definitely not well known.

Fun fact that some people don’t know is that the built in Apple notes app will scan documents using the camera and save to your iCloud account. Just recently found out about this!

I used to go back and forth between android and iPhone every few years. As I got older I just wanted simplicity and everything to work and last a long time. Apple stuff just works and lasts forever. The older I got the more a single ecosystem became more important, especially after becoming a father.
