Reply to Shipping Barrel to the Caribbean Islands by frommars6
Try these guys - http://turnersexpress.com/newjerseyshipping . They provide the barrels and also the shipping. Though not in JC, they should be able to pick up and ship without a problem.
It's been a while but ACME on 440 used to have the barrels above the refrigerator section on the right side wall of the store. The blue ones. Call them and see if they still have them available.

No realtor in their right mind would hand over keys without their fee in hand first.

Lorraine. She's usually looking out her 2nd floor window at the 5 points intersection with her Newports and Pepsi. She'll tell you everything you need to know about the goings on in JC.

Reply to Landlords / Renters, with the recent tax hike, how much do you anticipate % of rent to be raised? by balaca40
We’re new to being landlords and lucked out with very good tenants. It’s a little while before their lease is up. There’s enough cushion (profit) between what they pay in rent and our mortgage payment. We don’t plan on raising the rent when time for renewal.
We’ll eat the tax increase because having current tenants who pay on time, and take care of the place is our main focus.

Oh I see. Unfortunately I don't believe Jersey City, or really any municipality in NJ, has the resources to deal with his condition. Pretty much all the mental health facilities are closed and patients, if seen by medical professionals, are released on something like self care. (There was a whole documentary on this a while ago, but based in NYC). Which is why so many are on the streets left to harm themselves, potentially others. It's F'd up but until the mental healthcare systems are overhauled, I doubt there's anything to be done.
