I'd love to see video clips of the process. It's so fabulous.

I think the reason was that it was nonsensical trash that read like it was dashed off so the author could focus on the movies. But, that could be just me.

Yeah. You have to try to think of something that is good enough to recommend, but not so popular that she's most likely read it.
The one that comes to mind for me is maybe Chronicles of Elantra by Michelle Sagara?

Sounds like you probably get more out of a book than a lot of people do, myself included.

I don't blame you. It's a commitment and you have to be in the right frame of mind to take it on. I don't know if I could read it again now.

Twice, actually. I'm a glutton for punishment, but it's a great series. Jordan's imagination was incredible. His world-building is so detailed.

The libraries are for the residents of their area, and they license the books on that basis. As long as you are residing in that area, you should be able to get a library card. I've been booted off library systems before when I moved.

I just looked at my app. I'm not aware of any way to rent from Audible. If you have the Premium Plus membership, you get one credit per month, plus you can access the "Plus Catalog" for free-to-listen content. With the credit, you can buy audiobooks that you will own. I think the free-to-listen is only accessible for as long as you have the membership, but I'm not 100% sure bc I still have it.
If you have Overdrive/Libby, you can borrow from your local library.

If you like Urban Fantasy Romance, the Elder Races by Thea Harrison are also fun and should be safe (to the best of my recollection).

Yes, if you like RomComs. And wagon-wheel coffee tables.
