That's annoying but isn't quite the same thing happening here.
The new management is trying to recover the stolen user funds. While this is a fun clickbaity headline, money given to charity as a result of fraud is still fraud.

Eh the fertility rate isn't really a concern. Who knows what will happen to the economy but a demographic collapse in one direction doesn't seem to be in the cards

There's not a drop in ad revenue outside of YouTube.

How many celebrities do you think there are? A significant portion of the user base has to opt in for this to work. Granted there are businesses that have been successful in getting significant portions of its audience to opt in to payment for features over ads, but Twitter needs a really compelling value prop for people to do that

It's not 8$ to use Twitter - only for services which include verification. A scammer doesn't use or need those services.

lmao 4/90 is hardly theft - especially for a company like Apple that uses the justice system as much as it does to swing its IP hammer around.

Reddit's engineering staff is massive now, but they do have quite a few crypto/crypto security engineers at this point. It doesn't change the fact about solidity. It should be no one's first language and I'd argue not even your primary language unless you are only working on first gen smart contracts. Limiting yourself to just smart contract work is very risk and there's languages more popular for both smart contracts and high performant applications (like Rust)

Reddit is a VC backed crypto company. Several of it's key community features are built on blockchain. It doesn't change the point. Solidity is not a good language to learn by itself. If you have other software engineering skills you can add to your skillset to do smart contracts.

It's a crypto specific language. Anyone who works in it professionally is in a handful of VC infused smart contract developer positions. It is not a good language to learn on its own

Compound interest is typically taught as part of the exponential functions unit in Algebra 2. A separate financial literacy class is needed but not a requirement to learn about interest rates.

It is? There's a lot of things missing from American hs curriculum but compound interest is definitely on there
