I didn’t see the girl in my room, it was the dark entity in the hallway that looked inside, then froze as if it saw something inside my room that I was afraid of. Then my family member told me, that the girl had been the one in the room, protecting me from the darkness. That it was not a living darkness this time, which I took as the dark entity was not a living thing, but when she protected me against my father, he was the living darkness.. If that makes sense.

Just divorce. But that was for the best. He was abusive. And the thing was, he targeted me the most. But when it reached a level of “life or death” he was pushed down the stairs or stumbled up the stairs, making him slow down enough for me to get away. My mom told me once, that it was because he got so mad that he didn’t think about how he ran after me. But I think that my little protector did it to help me.

We actually tried to help her cross over, or at least set her free. But she chose this. Was okay with it. Wants to protect the space. I don’t know why she is so attached to the staircase. But I know, that there has been a lot of accidents surrounding stairs in the neighborhood… and that’s scary too!

Exactly. But it was still a very scary encounter. And the dark thing that seemed to be scared of her was just too much for my 12 y/o self. But then again, if she was scary enough for that kind of darkness to be afraid, I am very glad that she is on my side.

Haha, yeah. If only it was that simple. To be honest, when my family member said the thing about my brother, it didn’t sink in at first. But we talked about this not long ago, and he told me, that when he feels something, he is quick to detect it’s intentions and act accordingly. He, like me and my family member, sees and feels stuff, but he doesn’t acknowledge it the way we do… but then again, it depends if you believe in it or not. ;-)
