She was a Cinemax queen back in the day. Lady Dragon, Sworn to Justice. It's all low budget direct to cable stuff but back in the early 90s that wasn't so bad. Like back when Full Moon Pictures still made decent creature features.

Probably not as much as it used to happen in the industry, but I still say that has to be what happened with Alden Erenreich having a bit part in Hail Caesar! to playing young Han Solo.

Pretty good show so far but it's doing that thing where the kids are the extremely unrealistic kind of smart kids. Like the kind of 10 year olds that would get every reference in The French Dispatch and simply do not have real-life counterparts lol.
Edit - wow there's like 10 people on reddit who really hate David Cross for some reason lol. And they all have that really good justification 'Ugh I hate that guy'.

I didn't know they renewed it. Cool.
I don't disagree with the person below who got a lot of votes criticizing the leads but I'll still f'n watch it lol. Outside of TLOU there ain't much else going on these last 2 months :)
Credit to Amazon I guess for sticking with their properties. Can you guys buy Dark Crystal from Netflix like you bought Expanse from SyFy now?

Yeah McKean is basically it. All the rest of the main cast died in surprisingly quick succession there.

The Father.
Amazing, amazing script and performances. One of the best I've ever seen.
Never watching it again. Terrifying film.

She's just always a cool lady that plays a sassy character everyone loves to death lol.
She really reminds me of Patricia Quinn and I see similarities with their personalities.

Might actually be that. Someone more jovial could have really improved that movie. Nothing about Mel Gibson says 'Santa' other than not exactly being enshrined in Jewish-American hearts and minds. And his beard is more white than not-white at this point.
Russel Crowe could have done that movie. I'm not sure there's a better example of a jolly actor with a twinkle in his eye more than him at this point.

Reply to When you see an actor who seems familiar, do you feel like you need to KNOW who he played before? by fabrizziop17
Yes but that's my learning style across the board; not being able to answer the questions that are swimming in my head and obsessively digging around until I can.
But I will pretty much always do that with movies because film is almost certainly my most thorough hobby.

I just imagine it's part of the design pattern that keeps them out. One of those things that never gets explained in depth because it wouldn't be a satisfying explanation if you got it.

Same shit as >!13 Ghosts, where there's some vague runic magic going on that creates barriers!<
It's a plot device you see from time to time but it's not at all anything we haven't seen before.
The big, common example is >!the powder circle in witchcraft circles that provides protection and should never be broken!<
If you're into Horror, you can probably name an example of that being done in a TV show within this last week. Spoiler: >!First episode of Cabinet of Curiosities!<

Simpsons. Might have been like 2002 and I did the Army thing and we just grew apart. Have seen very sparing amounts of it since.
But I was watching that show in my jammies when it was still skits on the Tracey Ullman show so that's still like 15 years of undivided attention.
I'm still on the South Park and Family Guy wagons but I have tapped out on Simpsons.

To be fair though it took a bit of evaluation for people to come to consensus on that. It was pretty spicy at the time in the reactions.

I got to the end of the Saviors and tapped out with the Alpha stuff. That seemed like as much juice as that formula was going to really squeeze out.
Fear basically turned into the same show after a short bit and when they got rid of Dillane I just slowly started to bleed interest.
Honestly I think Kirkman is just fresh out of ideas and has been for a while in regards to this, and I'm not sure any spinoff or new coat of paint is going to bring it back.
If we ever get another zombie craze like that it's going to have to be a new creative mind behind it.

"It has been re-made"
Ghost: "Explain that to me, we've got time"
I'd honestly like to think that the part we don't see is just them sitting down at a table as Aragorn starts the story from the beginning.
