Nobody is arguing that anybody should be policing what books go in a free library, so why are you arguing against a point that was never made in the first place as if it had been?

It wasn't in the box, it was littered on the ground. OP's comment was about using the box rather than dropping books on the ground. The previous commenter was simply requesting that donations be of higher quality material and maybe books that aren't (not even mysteriously) sticky.

That's not necessarily a bad thing if their food sources are also huge.

The grass in my yard usually stops growing around October, goes full brown by December, and doesn't green up until March. The whole neighborhood was still mowing in November and some even into December this season. I still have green patches that never went brown. My son's tomato plant was still alive in December. We just didn't have a long enough cold snap to reset everything.

I've had an Eastpack since the late 80s when I was in junior high. I'm not sure if Eastpack was rolled into Jansport or if they are just owned by the same parent company, but I had a second Eastpack from the 80s that frayed in the early aughts and I was sent a Jansport as a replacement.
