But the policy is likely because of Medicare. I talked with the head of our Human Resources department about it specifically and it’s because we accept federal funds as a hospital. Now the place I work is in Oregon and I haven’t looked into OHAs stance on the matter but would assume it follows Oregon laws regarding marijuana.

Part of the problem is it’s still schedule 1 at the federal levels. Any business that accepts money from the federal government has to test for it. So healthcare is a big one because almost all of them take Medicare reimbursement. It’s not that simple because of its schedule 1 classification.

You’ll need reservations but Dediko is a Georgian restaurant in downtown that is very good. It’s right next to treat which also has great ice cream.

The waterfront area is good for wine tasting, food selection is so so. If you are here after mid March, the farmers market on weekends is great to find a local memento to remind you of your trip. Pop local is down on the waterfront and also has a really nice selection of local items that just don’t fall into the tourist junk category which is nice.

I think that is your best bet unfortunately. I suppose it might be worth contacting the county health department to make a complaint about unhealthy conditions but a lot of Washington counties are run by the good ol boys clubs, and they don’t like to enforce things unless it’s next to their properties. I pity the county official that has to come over there.

People just need to be considerate of each other.

My parents were having some issues with their neighbors unlicensed junkyard. The county needs multiple complaints from multiple neighbors. When enough people start to call in the problem, it gets in their radar and becomes an issue for them to address because it’s effecting multiple people. I think they needed like a minimum of 3 or 4 different complaints.

This is really great! I just gave it a go on a drive I make most weekends.

Some suggestions, but please know this is already excellent. I’m just giving these in case you like to tweak things.

Have larger areas of the map load instead of needing to move the map, then hit the button to load cameras for that area. It’s a bit cumbersome, but might be unavoidable? I needed to know where the cameras were in order load them on the map. Not the best for people who don’t know an area well.

Oregon would be helpful too as others have said. We have a lot of crossover on the border. Washington is better though.

Perhaps have pre selected major routes that someone can tap and get multiple cameras. Just a nice to have for quickly getting info for major routes.

One of the best feature is me being able to build my own routes! That is super helpful for those of us in rural areas. So really nicely done! Please don’t take offense to these suggestions, just food for thought on an already excellent app.

I think it's super valuable to know your neighbors. As an introvert though, it can be difficult for me to figure out how to go about that. I think for the most part you would be welcome and the introverts would be incredibly grateful that you made the effort. Sometimes it's just feeling like you know a name that really gets the ball rolling.

Exactly, they find a way to bring more people in to keep the wages low. The real problem is it’s a brain drain in those countries. Many of them actually need highly educated and skilled people to stick around to build up their economies but the US takes many of them.

We complain a lot here about other countries having bad economies while we steal their highly educated and use them to keep our own wages lower.

Actually I work with several h1-b visa holders. If there is less of a certain skill than what is needed then the cost of that skill goes up. If we bring people in from other countries, it prevents that increase and also drains resources from other countries that could benefit from that person’s skills.
