I say Bloomfield. Close to mass transit, restaurants in town...you can keep the car too.

You'll need to live by a good train line, so you'll have to spend some money on rent. Rutherford, Clifton, Bloomfield, etc.

Great idea. Highly recommend. Building wealth is always smart. Hire a management company to do repairs, etc.

No. I wish I could say yes, but no.
Too many kids would take advantage. If you need a day off, responsibly, take the day off. This should be the exception. They need to become resilient and taking mental health days is fine but again, should not become the rule.

I was walking distance to the train station. I lived there, sold my house and have since relocated to the central NJ area.

OK. So, check out Bloomfield. The schools are good (getting better) and your proximity to the city is under an hour.

Wait, I don't know how down I'd be to bike ride around the city...I would vibe check to make sure she's game. I'd take her for a drink, walk around the highline, and a bite at Chelsea Market.

Great place! If you want to indulge, get a room at The Asbury Ocean Club. Expensive but amazing.

I personally can't be in a room where the heat is too high. I like to sleep at 64 degrees and during the day, I keep it at 68. I also open the shades to get some warmth from the sun (if there is any).
