Reply to comment by [deleted] in US warns of potential attack on top hotel in Pakistan’s capital by Typical-Plantain256
People who have jobs and businesses that make them need to go there, diplomatic and embassy staff, families of people who work there, people on layovers, people going there for university seminars or to give training to people, curious adventurous travelers, Americans of Pakistani decent who need to go.
The Capitol of Islamabad is not really a tourist destination either. It’s basically a sterile planned city used only for politics. No real local culture or major sites of interest like other parts of Pakistan. It’s like Washington DC. A mix of everything in an organized manufactured city. I’m sure most Americans over there at that hotel are diplomats and their families, plus military contract people there Not just Americans either I’m sure when they say American citizens that kind of encompasses the other westerners and well to do Pakistanis that stay there.

What are some good YouTube channels for history that are neither:
A. Too dry
B. Too childish
I am a US history teacher so I am surrounded by dry text and childish videos. Just something clever or interesting I can listen to on my long commute to work.
