In this specific case, (in the sketch) Zordon is SPECIFICALLY choosing peoples color due to historical prejudice about color association with certain groups. He is given a chance to choose a leader based on experience (as much as a teenager being sent into a military engagement can have). But he prefers to be bigoted.

The use case I could see is Virtual Reality. Screen Door Effect is a difficult thing to overcome.

It's simple really. You BELIEVE you are in the right. The same way you believe the sun rises and the sky is blue. It's a FACT. A law of your existence, Everyone else just doesn't get it. They are wrong and refuse to listen to you. You try to explain to them but they don't listen. YOU are the one under attack, not the person you are hurting.
