Doctor Zhivago. I saw it in the theater when it was released. It was the most enthralling experience I had ever had watching a movie. I have never watched it again because I'm sure it will not live up to my memory of the original experience.

This is why recording live events cannot replace the actual experience. When you are 86 and looking at old videos you made they will be meaningless if you have no actual memory of watching the event. You might as well be watching YouTube.
