Yes it is. It is the faint dull green glow I see when I have gone on late night walks which rises in the east northeast late at night starting in September here in PA. To me, looking at this Andromeda Galaxy and looking out into the universe is a very mystical like experience. Andromeda Galaxy is 2 million light years away from earth.

Very beautiful! Love it! I love looking up at the night sky on clear nights where I live. Where I live, there are places I would walk after dark and would see this with milky way going across night sky. Always a beautiful sight to see.

Reply to Asked to conserve electricity on Christmas eve. What is even going on anymore by CoolHandMike
Last night I was going to go to a Christmas Eve service at one of the churches in my area, but found there was no service at all at many of the churches where I live. I think with this major storm, bitter cold, and being asked to conserve electricity on top of that has cancelled out many of the church services yesterday. I would say because of the major storm and bitter cold is why we are being asked to conserve electricity to prevent a strain on an aging grid that could cause major blackouts I feel as we do what we all can to keep warm.

There use to be a Jamesway in Franklin PA what use to be a Quality Farm and Fleet as well for a few years after Jamesway went out. Most of the building there is still empty except for a sliver of building which has been A and C Chinese and Asian buffet restaurant now for 17 years. I remember Ames as well out at the cranberry mall where a Hills department store once was.

This reminds me of when I was in school. While as a child and teenager, as I did not fully understand politics, laws, social programs etc, I complained to others saying that there are too many of these election signs in yards, along roads, etc and that they need to go. I would always see these election signs to and from school while riding school bus and would tell the bus drivers how much I couldn't stand seeing these signs. I would always sit in front of school bus talking to bus drivers to and from school and election signs were one of my many conversations with bus driver whenever it was election time. Even now with a much better understanding of social programs, laws, politics, etc.. I still feel as I did in school about too many election signs littering things up.

Reply to After the train derailment on the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania, a lot of chemicals ended up in the atmosphere from a purposeful burn off. I’m wondering if this may lead to acid rain anywhere across our state, today. by putinmaycry
I have been wondering if any of the precipitation gotten since this derailment contains toxicity from the chemicals. It is now starting to rain where I live and hopefully this rain is not toxic as I am somewhat fearing it is.
