I pay $157 a month for just internet. Don't even get cable with it. Fuck Comcast.

Baltimore has a very similar vibe to St. Louis. An independent city, just like St. Louis, only much bigger, but sporting an equally disfunctional city government, but largely progressive/competent State level governance.

Reply to Has the traffic on 83 gotten any better with the new speed cameras installed? by socaTsocaTsocaT
There have definitely been fewer major accidents that either partially or fully close down 83 since they have been installed. I feel like a couple of years ago, there was a major accident every 2 - 3 days that had 83 shutting down. It seems like these events are less frequent since the camera installations. That's just a personal observation/opinion, though. I would be interested in seeing statistical data on it.

Reply to Hampden pharmacies? by meowmeowbuttz
Mimikay's is great. It's just 1 pharmacist, so don't expect services that chains have pretty much made standard like auto-refilling of medications or a call when they're ready, but I've always found those services annoying and unreliable anyway. But if those services don't matter to you, Mimikay is a great pharmacy.

Might not be the best fit, and its not 100% accurate, but I appreciate this guys analysis of Baltimore.

Reply to comment by dopkick in Comcast/Xfinity price just went up $42 for me this month by jdtoast
I have my own Verizon modem that I use. When I call to complain, they will drop the price to $125 or so for a month or two, and then it's right back up. Actually getting in touch with a rep is like a 40-minute phone ordeal, at least in my experience.
I'm just waiting for Verizon 5g to become available in my neighborhood. The moment that happens, I'm going to immediately drop Comcast.
