The epoxy part will be easy it's all in the prep. Unless you floors are bad I would float it with self leveling compound then epoxy it.

Don't guess.. do it especially if your going to do the work yourself. Asbestos is no joke If it was built after 85 it probably 99% isn't asbestos. That isn't drywall it's something else with fibers in it so mudding and sanding that isn't very ideal. Another option is to drywall over it. Which also helps with sound deadening and Insulating.

Reply to When you plan to build something, do you create a plan on a computer, paper or do you just jump into it? by El_Lorenzo
I built a square drop trailer completely off the top of my head. While it went well there's a few things I had to fix, however The time I would of taken to sketch it all up and do all the math for it still would of gone well over the time it took to fix That being said I'm very construction inclined with a good memory. For something small it's not a big deal but when there's alot of money being invested definitely plan it out.

Process of elimination. Shut the valve off. Loosen the supply line a little bit. If water comes out it's not the valve. That being said I'd change the valve and the line anyway they don't look to be in good shape

You definitely can. It's called cut and seal. It's basically copper azole which is what they use on treated lumber.
Creosote is the best but I think it's illegal now as it causes cancer.

Just do the wood tapping. If the stringers are treated and sitting on shingles or something it should be ok

Just don't buy spf.(spruce pine fir) Cedar at the very least. Treated wood is best but it doesn't take to paint as well as the latter due to the coating and its usually damp. Check your local hardware store there's some special boards that they use for fascia that holds up well and usually comes primed

Nah. It would just be for aesthetics composite will likely outlive you. I personally would though if u can find a matching filler

Take a screwdriver and lightly stab a few suspect areas or tap it with the butt of the screwdriver if u dont want to damage it. Good wood makes a nice solid knock whereas rotted wood doesn't make as much of a noise, a spongy noise or any at all

Hoping your riser and skirt are protecting a separate set of stringers that you can't see but sometimes the skirt itself is the stringer. I can't tell from here

Ya anything that's not rotting you can salvage or reuse some how but the reality is when u demo it alot of stuff is gonna get damaged or you will be spending alot of time tediously removing it.. so sometimes it's better to just re do it. If the stairs are composite board those can be reused. Generally when u see lots of rot around like that chances are other areas are rotted just hidden behind paint.

Re do it all. Sorry but this is the best way. The stringers look bad too You can buy pre* cut stringers and the rest is math if you have basic woodworking skills you should be able to do it!
Edit spelled pee instead of pre

There is but it's not worth the labor vs grinding it down. U can bend them back and forth and eventually they will break and hopefully below surface but u can likely smash that little bit down. Just get a grinder and some safety goggles and let er rip

You need to span a couple 2x4 across to each stud and use that as a backer especially if you plan to use a swiveling type of mount. Shouldn't really be able to see it behind the TV especially of you paint it same as the wall

Depends. If u wash it its gonna get wet... n u gotta let it dry if u live somewhere hot I'd do it but if it's winter or cold I'd just blow it down or sweep it

No problem, your best bet is to pop off one of the baseboards or the quarter round on the same line as the popped plank to expose it and it u can prove that He didn't leave an expansion gap he should fix it.

Moisture shouldn't affect LVP. Did he let the boxes acclimate for a few days before installing?
