Yeah if you search for it, the story is maybe 10 years old. I think wired magazine broke it. When google got caught, they said it was a secret anti-virus software they built in.

Also uninstall Chrome while you're at it.

As far as I know, Brave hasn't had any controversies of scanning all the files on your PC and sending the hashes to Google.

This is a good pro tip.
Somehow I got in this dumb habit of saying no to offers to do things.
I was always too busy, I had to work, my friends whated to hang out on the weekend.

Now one of my parents passed and I regret not doing more with them.

Makes me cry thinking about it.
