I live near downtown/central business district & love it. Kelley Square is another good place to look. The only challenge you might find in this area is covered parking. I move my car to the city garages during storms.

Lock 50, Deadhorse Hill, Altea. I just tried Blackstone for dinner - really good. That bodes well for brunch. Lock 50 takes reservations. For the others you may need to wait.

I used Ford’s Hometown Service. It was pricey but worth it. I also no longer leave food anywhere outside of the fridge. Once I’ve opened a container, it goes in the fridge. I tried the sonic repellent & peppermint oil that others mentioned. The professionals were the most effective.

Worcester seems remarkably queer to me but I don't know of any place solely queer; most of what I'e seen is generally inclusive. I'm not a lounge person but I like wine. The wine store in the Public Market is lesbian owned. Dead Horse Hill has a great bar. Redemption Rock has a lot of events. Check out https://www.loveyourlabels.org & JMAC. Welcome & hope that helps!

As far as Mexican food, if you like the Caribbean coast, you’ll love it. There are a lot of grocery stores that cater to the Caribbean & Central America. If you’re thinking northern, central or Pacific Mexico, well, treasure the time you have & your trips home! I have yet to find a mole, tamale, or verde sauce that beats or meets the SW.

I think we’ve named every coffee place in Worcester! Acoustic & Crumb are my favorites for a quick, take out coffee (with a pastry if you’re feeling fancy). If you want to sit down & feel super fancy, Dead Horse Hill is great for a leisurely weekend breakfast/coffee.
