It's gotta be considered a desirable posting in the USN. You get lodging in a safe, vibrant city, on an assignment that doesn't run the risk of violence unless you get an active shooter-type situation, and each day varies based on the ship duties, tourists you interact with, and community outreach you engage in. BJ Farrell has two young kids, so sending them to school in Massachusetts is about as good as it gets. I met her last summer during a tour of the Constitution, and she was very much enthusiastic about the work she and her crew do, and the historical opportunity presented to her.

Depending where in the state, check Fody's in Nashua. Solid food, homey space, reasonable prices. They used to rent it out for free or cheap, depending on how much food you bought.

Medical card makes that moot, though you need to find a medical dispensary. REV Clinics in Cambridge is my go-to. Affordable, and I can get high-thc edibles if I want.

Reply to You might like paintings more if you stop to read the gallery labels - people high in openness, and those with limited art experience, liked paintings more after reading information about the artist and their technique. by Litvi
The Elizabeth Stewart Gardner museum in Boston has this problem. In order to adhere to Mrs. Gardner's will they can't alter placement or appearance. They've got audio tour and QR code information on placard stands for the rooms, but it is frustrating to have to be on your phone to get the info. It's a beautiful place but it takes you out of the experience a bit compared to each piece having an info plaque.
