I have a neighbour who was born on the 1st of July 1916, the day the battle of the Somme started. He is still alive at the age of 106. If someone were to live to 106 in 1916, they would have been born in 1810.

Off the North West Coast of Ireland there is a big shipwreck of a US transport ship sunk by a U-boat during WW2. Because of this there are just a bunch of sherman tanks sitting on the Atlantic Ocean floor. There's some pretty cool pictures on google of them.
